I thought I would come over and do a nice fresh blog post. Not been too busy with shoots these days that I can share…the Boudoir Marathon was FANTASTIC and went really well. Just about to finish editing those images…but wont be sharing them, sorry. But for today, I am going to leave you with a fresh image that I love taken at a ladies retreat back in Kansas. So I have always wanted to live on the east coast. It has been in my bones ever since I picked up my first camera. I think of the Big Apple when I think of the east coast and someday, I will be there with my family on Christmas. For now, we are closer than ever before…not quite the coast, but close. We have been here at Fort Campbell TN for a little over three months now. I cant even explain how beautiful it is here. We are originally from Arizona, where it is pretty dry and a lot more rocks than greenery. The old beat up barns in the fields are to die for. And fall here is what you see on post cards. I have had a few chances to get out and take some pictures for myself the last few weeks and here is what I saw:

Today has a new meaning for me and my family. I have always been proud of my country and so thankful for all the men, women and families who have served our country, but today, I am a wife of a soldier and I could not be more proud. Some people may not agree with the war we are fighting or the ones we have fought, but we should always be supportive of the men and women who put their lives on the line so that we can have the amazing freedom we have now. So when you are out and about your day today, remember to say Thank You to those men & women who are keeping us safe here in our cozy America.

Happy Easter! He has risen. He has risen indeed!

Just wanted to share a few pictures from my house durring this month of Christmas. My mother in law started a collection for each of her grandchildren and my oldest gets an angel every Birthday and Christmas. This is one of her angles that I love…

Here is our Christmas tree with our homemade star. For our first Christmas as husband and wife we didnt have much to spend on Christmas so we decided to make our own star for the tree. We used aluminum foin and a wooden spoon. Every year we think, oh its time for a new topper, but we just cant get rid of it, and I dont think we ever will!

I love how putting two candy canes together you get a heart…

A good friend of mine always has the most fun ideas for crafts. She shared a link on how to make really easy paper candy canes. My girls each picked the color they wanted and LOVE them!

Our reason for this season…no greater love than His to come to this earth and give His life for us all.
